At Acnos Pharma, we are committed to reducing our carbon footprint and supporting sustainability initiatives across all aspects of our operations. As part of our ongoing efforts, we have installed a state-of-the-art photovoltaic (PV) system at our facility in Aachen, Germany. This system, with a peak power capacity of 70.20 kWp, plays a crucial role in minimizing our environmental impact by harnessing solar energy to meet a significant portion of our energy needs.
With the installation of 156 solar modules, the system is designed to generate approximately 60,555 kWh of electricity annually. This renewable energy supply covers over 55% of our annual energy consumption, significantly reducing our reliance on conventional energy sources. As a result, we are not only cutting down on energy costs but also making a substantial contribution to the reduction of CO₂ emissions, with an expected decrease of 407 tons over the next 20 years.
The energy produced by the system is intelligently managed through the Sunny Home Manager 2.0, which optimizes our energy consumption in real-time, ensuring maximum efficiency and sustainability. This initiative underscores Acnos Pharma’s commitment to integrating sustainable energy solutions into our operations, helping us create a more sustainable future for the pharmaceutical industry.
